NETS by Ultrasonic Wave Technology
Netwave aims to be the world first class antifouling system which is based on ultrasonic waves.
The system is chemical-free, requires no human intervention
and is safe for any farmed species.
This innovation action is intended to increase aquafarmers’ production efficiency and help build the resilience of the aquaculture industry to environmental hazards, by preventing biofouling.
The novelty in the NetWave product lies in a connected,
cost-effective and easy-to-use system enabling 95% prevention
micro-fouling layers apparition on nets.
The system is chemical-free, requires no human intervention and is safe for any farmed species.
This innovative solution will have an impact on several European aquaculture goals (product quality, consumer health and safety, innovative technology, sustainable production, environment respect, knowledge management, animal health and welfare).
